About us
SCL-Mumbai’s aim is to provide a collaborative platform for legal professionals, engineers, project managers, arbitrators, and other stakeholders engaged in the dispute resolution in construction and infrastructure sectors. Through signature conferences, seminars, webinars, debates, discussions and publications, we seek to encourage the development of legal thought, foster best practices, and contribute to a deeper understanding of construction law. SCL – Mumbai’s yearly International Conference which is usually organised in the first weekend of May has become a melting pot of Lawyers, Judges, Arbitrators, Project Managers, academicians, students. SCL India and SCL-Mumbai’s 1st International Conference on Construction Law & Arbitration took place on 3rd May 2024 at Four Season, Mumbai saw participation of 200 delegates from across the globe.
SCL – Mumbai’s 2nd International Conference on Construction Law & Arbitration was held on 4th May 2025 and attended by 250 delegates.
SCL-Mumbai organises thought provoking debates periodically on issues pertaining to Construction Law and Arbitration in collaboration with leading law firms, universities and arbitration institutions. SCL-Mumbai also organises training programmes for dispute resolution professionals involved in construction of mega engineering projects so as to create a galaxy of trained construction law professionals who can resolve disputes effectively and in time.
